I'm back!

Well, it's been a year and a half, but I am back! I know, I know, you can barely contain your excitement.

A lot has happened in that time. We moved down to Portland. Got pregnant. Bought a house and moved to Milwaukie (which is the city that is just south of SE Portland). And, then, a week ago gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

I'm pleased to introduce you to Shoshana Lily. This photo is from RIGHT NOW. I'm blogging on my iPhone, while she snoozes on my shoulder. 

I really had not given this blog much thought in the last year, but then her impending birth put me in the mood to go back and read Judah's birth story. Which lead me to reread a bunch of entries from when he was a wee little baby. And I realized how nice it is to have this document of Judah's growth. I guess it is kind of my version of a baby book, because you can be damn sure I have never filled out any traditional baby books.

So, here I am. A year later. A new city. A new baby. And back to an old blog.
