Cousin Time

Last week my niece, ToShan Azalea Elizabeth (her name du jour), stayed at my parents house. Her summer camp/day care was off for the week and school didn't start until today (the day after Labor Day). She is now officially a kindergartner! Crazy times.

Judah loves her. He especially love wrestling/tackling her. Earlier this summer she was into the wrestling, but this time around she was not such a fan. She kept telling him, "No!" and telling him not there was an (invisible) line between them and he wasn't to cross it. Shockingly, the do-not-cross-line did not work on Judah. Weird, I know.

Regardless, they had fun playing together. Judah and her hung out 5 out of the 8 days she was there. Azalea (Elizabeth. Whatever.) also really enjoyed Shoshana and kept wanting to hold her. And pick her up. And carry her around. We repeatedly shot her down on picking her up and carrying her, but we let her hold her on the couch (not nearly as much as she would have liked though).

I brought my camera out on the last day she was there (and her parents were there too: my brother & sister-in-law). For the majority of the time my camera was commandeered by a certain toddler and kindergartner.

First up here are my photos:

And now photos by the kiddos:

  3. I always knew your entire family was incredibly talented, specially when it come to photography. It all started, for me, with the picture of Pen and Toby at the beach when Toby was about 2? I remember that day very clearly.

    1. Well, I certainly don't know what picture your referring to, but that probably relates to me not being alive then, haha. I'm sure the other Ehrenkranzes know what your talking about ;)

    2. The photo in question is hanging on the wall as you head down the stairs to the ground floor.
